UA How to Recognize and Prevent Child Sexual Exploitation: Training for Psychology Students
We continue working on creating a safe environment for children
High-quality training of specialists working with children plays a key role in preventing violence. They are the first to recognize danger, provide necessary assistance, and protect the child.
In collaboration with the State University "Zhytomyr Polytechnic" and the Research Institute of Medical Technologies, Mental Health, and Human Intelligence, we conducted a training session for psychology students on the topic of "Preventing Sexual Exploitation and Violence."
During the event, participants discussed:
- Types of sexual violence and its consequences.
- How trauma affects a child's psyche and behavior.
- Methods of support and effective communication.
- Signs of violence and response protocols.
- How to create a safe environment for a child.
